In 2004 after more than twenty years of being a solar cooking hobbyist David Chalker started the Sun BD Corporation after he flew to India and met with the management staff at Rohitas Electronics, India's first and foremost solar oven manufacturing company in-order to bring the Tulsi® solar electric oven to America.
